LIVE: Ireland win toss, bat against Pakistan
ADELAIDE: Ireland captain William Porterfield won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in an all important World Cup match, considered as a virtual pre-quarter final here at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
Captain Misbah-ul-Haq at the toss said that fast bowler Ehsan Adil will replace Mohammad Irfan and Haris Sohail is fit again to play in place of Younis Khan.
Pakistan's match against Ireland is the last league match in the month-long group stage. The winner will enter into the quarter-finals while the loser will require a tricky run-rate countback against the West Indies.
